SkilledMob respects the privacy of visitors who use SkilledMob.com and people who call telephone numbers displayed through the website. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information that may be collected when you browse SkilledMob.com, use a location or service-selection feature, or call a number displayed on the Site. It also explains how that information may be used, disclosed, retained, and protected.

SkilledMob provides phone-first access to local home and property services. Service work requested through SkilledMob may be fulfilled by independent service professionals. Information may be processed or shared as needed to handle the request, route a call, and support service fulfillment.

Information We May Collect

The information SkilledMob may collect depends on how you interact with the Site. You may browse many areas of SkilledMob.com without directly providing your name or other identifying information. When you use a service feature, location feature, or telephone number displayed on the Site, additional information may be processed as described below.

Information Collected When You Call

When you call a telephone number displayed on SkilledMob.com, SkilledMob and its call-routing, telecommunications, or call-tracking service providers may process information associated with the call. This information may include: the telephone number from which the call originated; the date and time of the call; call duration; call-routing information; the SkilledMob page or service category associated with the telephone number; the general geographic area associated with the call; whether the call connected successfully; call-routing results; information voluntarily provided during the call; and technical information necessary to operate, troubleshoot, prevent abuse of, or improve the call-routing system.

The information collected depends on the configuration of the call-routing system and the information the caller chooses to provide. SkilledMob does not require callers to provide information that is unrelated to identifying or handling the service they are seeking.

Information You Choose to Provide

You may voluntarily provide information while requesting a local service. Depending on the request, this may include information such as: city, ZIP code, or general service location; type of service needed; description of the problem or project; preferred timing; telephone number; information necessary for a professional to understand the service request; and other information you voluntarily choose to provide. Users should avoid providing information that is unnecessary for the requested service.

Location Information

Certain SkilledMob features may ask you to enter a city, ZIP code, or other general location so the Site can identify relevant local service information. If SkilledMob offers a "Use My Location" feature, your browser or device may ask for permission before providing location information. SkilledMob does not require precise device location simply to browse the Site.

Where location information is provided, SkilledMob may use it to: identify the appropriate state or city page; determine whether SkilledMob has relevant service information for the location; help route a service request; provide relevant service information; and prevent users from being directed to unrelated geographic pages. Declining browser location permission does not prevent you from manually entering a city or ZIP code where that option is available.

Call Routing and Service Fulfillment

Telephone numbers displayed on SkilledMob may use call-routing technology. When a call is placed, the system may evaluate information such as the requested service, geographic area, routing rules, service availability, and other operational criteria to handle the call.

A call appearing on SkilledMob does not guarantee that: a provider will be available; a provider will answer; a provider will accept the requested project; service will be available in every geographic area; a particular provider will receive the call; or a call will result in a completed service appointment. Routing decisions may occur automatically using telecommunications and call-routing systems.

Independent Service Providers

Independent service professionals handling calls or work requested through SkilledMob are third parties. They are not employees, agents, branches, or service technicians of SkilledMob. When a professional handles a service request, information necessary to respond to the request may be disclosed to that professional. Depending on the circumstances, this information may include: caller telephone number; requested service; general location; information provided by the caller concerning the project; and other information necessary to respond to the request.

Once information has been provided directly to an independent provider, that provider's handling of the information may also be governed by its own privacy practices. SkilledMob does not control every independent provider's internal privacy practices.

Business Compensation

SkilledMob may receive compensation in connection with calls, service requests, leads, or business relationships involving participating service professionals, marketing partners, call networks, or other business partners. The existence of such compensation does not mean that SkilledMob performs the requested work itself. Any professional ultimately performing work remains an independent third party. Information exchanged as part of a service request is used primarily to handle that request and operate SkilledMob's service business.

Information Collected Automatically

Even where SkilledMob does not use advertising trackers or analytics platforms, ordinary website infrastructure may process limited technical information necessary to deliver and secure the Site. Depending on the hosting, security, telecommunications, and infrastructure services in use, this information may include: IP address; browser type; device type; operating system; requested URL; date and time of requests; referring page; server logs; error logs; and information used to detect abusive, fraudulent, or malicious activity. This information may be processed automatically as part of normal website operation.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Technologies

SkilledMob uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate website usage and to measure phone-call clicks originating from the Site. SkilledMob does not intentionally use third-party advertising pixels, behavioral advertising trackers, or similar technologies to build advertising profiles of Site visitors. If these or other technologies are introduced later, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or when those practices begin.

How SkilledMob Uses Information

SkilledMob may use information collected through the Site or telephone calls to: understand the type of service a consumer is requesting; identify the consumer's general service location; handle the service request; route telephone calls; operate SkilledMob's service channels; provide relevant service and location information; maintain and troubleshoot telephone routing systems; prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and duplicate or malicious activity; evaluate whether service-request and call-routing systems are functioning properly; maintain business and operational records; protect SkilledMob, users, providers, and service partners; comply with applicable legal obligations; and improve the functionality and reliability of the service.

SkilledMob does not need information unrelated to these legitimate operational purposes simply for a visitor to browse service information on the Site.

How Information May Be Shared

SkilledMob may disclose information where reasonably necessary to handle service requests.

Independent Service Providers

Information may be shared with independent professionals handling a consumer's service request.

Call-Routing and Telecommunications Providers

Information may be processed by companies providing telephone numbers, call routing, telecommunications infrastructure, call tracking, fraud detection, and related technology.

Website and Infrastructure Providers

Limited technical information may be processed by hosting, security, content-delivery, domain, server, or other infrastructure providers necessary to operate SkilledMob.com, including analytics providers such as Google Analytics.

Business Service Providers

Information may be disclosed to companies that perform services on behalf of SkilledMob where reasonably necessary for business operations.

Legal and Safety Disclosures

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to: comply with applicable law or legal process; respond to lawful governmental requests; investigate fraud or misuse; protect the rights or safety of users, providers, SkilledMob, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

No Provider Profiles or Public Consumer Accounts

SkilledMob is not designed as a social network or public consumer marketplace. The Site does not require users to create public consumer profiles in order to browse service information or place a service call. Information supplied during a service request is not intended to be publicly displayed as a consumer profile.

No Payment Information Collected by SkilledMob for Contractor Services

SkilledMob does not perform the underlying contractor or local service work. Payments for work performed by an independent provider, where applicable, are generally matters between the consumer and that provider. Consumers should review the provider's own terms, pricing, payment practices, and privacy practices before completing a transaction.

Data Retention

SkilledMob retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, business, security, dispute-resolution, and legal needs. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods. Factors affecting retention may include: whether information is necessary to complete or document a service request; telecommunications and call-routing record requirements; fraud-prevention needs; provider or partner reconciliation; legal or regulatory requirements; dispute resolution; security needs; and whether information remains necessary for legitimate business purposes.

When information is no longer reasonably required, SkilledMob may delete it, anonymize it, or allow it to expire according to applicable systems and retention practices.

Sensitive Personal Information

SkilledMob does not require sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, or similar highly sensitive data merely to handle a local home-service request. Consumers should not provide sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for their interaction with an independent provider. If sensitive information is voluntarily provided directly to an independent provider during service fulfillment, the provider's own privacy practices may apply.

Children's Privacy

SkilledMob is intended for adults seeking local services. The Site is not designed for children, and SkilledMob does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children for the purpose of handling service requests. If information relating to a child is inadvertently received, it may be deleted or otherwise handled as required by applicable law.

Your Privacy Choices

• Browse the Site without placing a call
• Decline to provide information that is not necessary for your request
• Manually enter a city instead of using browser-based location features, where available
• Decline browser location permission
• Choose not to proceed with a service request
• Communicate directly with an independent provider after a connection
• Exercise privacy rights available under applicable law

Not providing certain information may make it impossible to identify or route an appropriate provider.

Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information about you. Those rights may include the ability to request: confirmation of whether information is being processed; access to certain personal information; correction of inaccurate information; deletion of certain information; information about categories of information collected; information about categories of recipients; limitations on certain uses or disclosures; portability where applicable; or an opt-out of certain forms of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable.

Not every privacy right applies to every person, business, or circumstance. SkilledMob may need to verify a request before acting on it and may retain information where permitted or required by law. If SkilledMob later creates a dedicated privacy-request mechanism, this section will be updated to refer to it.

California Privacy Information

California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws when those laws apply to SkilledMob. These may include rights to know, delete, correct, and obtain information concerning certain disclosures or uses of personal information, as well as rights concerning certain sales or sharing of personal information. SkilledMob does not sell consumer information for unrelated behavioral advertising-profile purposes unrelated to its service operations.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

Some browsers provide privacy signals or settings indicating a user's preference concerning tracking. Because SkilledMob currently does not operate behavioral advertising or advertising-profile tracking as described above, certain advertising opt-out signals may not materially change the Site experience. If SkilledMob later engages in activities legally subject to an opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, the Site should implement and disclose the appropriate response as required by applicable law.

Third-Party Websites and Services

SkilledMob may contain links to websites operated by independent providers or other third parties. SkilledMob does not control the privacy practices, security practices, content, or policies of third-party websites. Visiting another website or interacting directly with an independent provider may therefore be subject to that party's own privacy policy and terms. Users should review those policies when appropriate.

Independent Provider Responsibility

Once a consumer communicates directly with an independent service provider, the provider may independently collect information needed to quote, schedule, perform, bill for, or follow up regarding the requested service. That information is collected by the provider in its own capacity. SkilledMob is not responsible for establishing every independent provider's privacy practices.

Geographic Scope

SkilledMob provides information about local services within areas covered by its Site. The existence of a state, city, service, or "near me" page does not itself represent a physical SkilledMob office in that location and does not guarantee service availability. Location information is used to make the service experience more relevant and to support call routing.

Business Transfers

If SkilledMob or substantially all of its relevant business assets are acquired, reorganized, merged, transferred, or sold, information associated with the business may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by law. Any successor handling the information would remain subject to applicable legal obligations concerning that information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

SkilledMob may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, service channels, technology, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes to the ways personal information is collected or used should be reflected in the Privacy Policy when those changes take effect. Visitors are encouraged to review this page periodically.

Relationship to the Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy describes SkilledMob's information practices. Use of SkilledMob.com may also be governed by SkilledMob's Terms of Service and other notices displayed on the Site. If a particular feature includes an additional privacy notice at the point information is collected, that notice should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
